I'm going to agree. His X looks bad@$$ as crap. Good thing I the same body style and color, mine has menacing potential too... if only I were doing a SAS and such extreme stuff. Just an IFS lift and some lockers, mabey a winch and bye bye bumpers. But I wouldn't do those white stripes. Without the ecx stickers it just wouldn't look right (besides, I wouldn't be much of an individual then, would I?)

NH25......what are those holes below your doors? Nice truck too.

I am working on installing rocker guards and I cut the sheetmetal from under the doors. The holes are the body brace. :)

Its not an Explorer...but it was still a nasty little hole.

This is the end of the road, we are getting ready to hike from here. That why my GF is wearing that stupid hat.

You know Spas, I was thinking the same thing. I love that pic. Thanks for the compliment. :D

Hey Namitey?

Is that a Waag brush guard that you've got? Did you have to modify anything to get it to fit correctly? I've been thinking about getting one but I don't want it to not be aligned because i've raised my front bumper. Did you not raise your front bumper? In some of your pics it looks like you did, in some it doesn't.

Thanks for the info.

Its a cheapo Steel Horse brushguard that i modified to fit.

I cut the brackets that mounted to the frame shorter and then i cut about 4" off the bottom of the brushgaurd. I then fabbed up new brackets and welded them to the brushgaurd and then welded that to the modified brackets. here's a pic of it semifinished.
Ive since rounded off the bottom and cleaned up the brackets a bit more.

NICE... :D
Well It looks great! Hey? just out of curiosity? How did you lift your front bumper? I did a custom job on mine, it's up but it also sticks out an extra inch or so. Just curious to see how others have done it.

I think i'm going to get me a brush guard now.. That looks REALLY good on yours.

Thanks. I used the bumperbrackets that came with the body lift. i got the kit for the 98+ ranger.

Snow! 12+ Inches

At camp here in northern PA this weekend. Last here in December, only 4 inches or so. Now, 12+ inches everywhere. The X went everywhere I needed it to go!
