I need to pick between two subwoofers.
The amp I have will provide an actual 550 RMS @ 2ohm 14.4V.
#1
120 oz. Double Stacked Strontium Magnets
Power Handling: 600 watts R.M.S.
Frequency Response: 23Hz-500Hz
Efficiency: 91.1 dB
PHAT 2" Foam Surround
Non- Pressed, Non-Transfer Paper Cone
KM3' Coated for Virtually No Cone Distortion
2.5" 4-Layer ASV Voice Coil
#2
120 oz. Double Stacked Strontium Magnets
Power Handling: 800 watts R.M.S.
Frequency Response: 20Hz – 500Hz
Efficiency: 95.6dB
PHAT 1.75 Inch EPDM Rubber Surround
Spun Aluminum Cone
3 Inch 4-Layer ASV Voice Coil Dual 6 Ohm
My problem is #2 can only be run at 3 ohm, While it is the 'Better' subwoofer will it still hit as hard as #1? Which one would you pick? There is no price difference.
