i was hoping maybee we could start a list of what modifications for engine performance people have made, and how satisfied they are with all the mods. i am really interested in seeing what the possibilities are. i know i can do exhaust and stuff, but are there any other mods that can be done besides bolt on stuff? im very interested in v6 seeing how i have a v6

you might try h/p plugs and wires, that was prob. the single most improvement in performance i have realized.

mtxplorer,
There are a bunch of things you can do - search the site - you will be impressed. The list of things I would like to do include: Headers, less restrictive cat, cat back, throttle body, MAF, 24# or 30# injectors, platinum plugs, the list goes on. I figure by rebuilding the top of the motor and adding a streest cam, I can pump 250-280hp without superchargers, nitrous, or turbos. I have been reading a lot on http://www.vanirtech.com/index.html about the things that can be done to these engines and I am quite impressed. I am about a year away from redoing the motor, I wish the money would fall from the sky because I am in impatient SOB Dead Link Removed

I am really happy with my trucks performance rite now. The chip made the biggest diff.

Did you notice a difference in your gas mileage once you installed the chip? I've been interested, but not too sure about it, because I'm not interested in dropping my mileage.
