Power Window Control?

Hi

Like to know if I can take the power window control panel apart to fix my up button of the driver side window. The problem is not puting it down, but, to put it up it takes some force, but it will go up. I rather not buy the whole power window control panel but either repair the one that does not work correctly. Need help and advice.

Your best bet is to buy a new set of switches. I tried fooling with my window switches a few times with no real luck. They would work fine for a while, then crap out again. You can try sanding the contacts with some emery cloth if you can get it in between them, but I think what happens is resistence just builds up in the contact and kills it over time.
Here is a tip. The dealer will charge about $48 for the the four way driver side set. Some auto parts stores will carry them in the section where they sell small replacement parts like bolts, door panel clips and the sort. The brand I found was in a red package labled HELP at an R&S Strauss parts store for $20. It was the exact same part from the dealer made in Mexico and stamped with the Ford emblem on the back. Imagine that.
