I have a 2001 Explorer Sport trac. Yesterday all four power windows stopped working( at least they were all up). I checked the fuse for the "power window relay" in the distribution block and the power window fuse inside
( left side of the dash) Both were good and I has 12 volts to ground at the terminals of both of the fuses. I looked at harness where it enters the door and all of the wires apear to be in good shape. Everything else works including the rear window. Is there a realy or another component which could affect all four windows???

Check the connection to the switches in the drivers door. This has happened to me before and the plug came loose.

I looked at my manual and there is about 15 pages of tests you can do to narrow it down.
1. Check for any DTC codes ( Autozone, Advance Autoparts have the tool to check for codes), the computer will know if something is wrong.
2. You can check the following yourself:
Battery Junction Box fuse 12 (30A) This is located by the master cylinder in the engine compartment, on the inner fender.
Central Junction Box Fuse 20 (7.5A)
Driver side window control switch assembly

There are many tests but you would need my manual to troubleshoot the system.

Hope this helps,
Chad
