I have a 4 door, 95 Explorer. I have been having an intermittent problem with my Driver's side window. It started about 1/5 weeks ago. When the car sits for a long time or overnight when first starting up, or going down the road, the driver's side window starts to go down on it's own (a bump or two at a time). I fight the switch for a while and then it goes away won't do it again until the next time the car sits for a while.
One day it was really bad and while it was happening I heard a clicking sound underneath the dash. I traced down the relay module and opened up the cover and I just decided to go ahead and replace the accessory delay relay and the one touch down module as a quick fix. (I had found the one-touch down module relay a bit loose and hoped that this was the problem)
Well, it was not the answer, as it did it to me again this morning. It only went down a little bit and not the whole way, but it did happen nonetheless. I'm just worried it will finally decide to crap out on me when there is a torrential rainstorm or something.
Any ideas from anyone? I tried to do a simple fix and that didn't work,
so I guess looking at the switch maybe? I imagine checking for continuity/loose wires will be also an option. Just wondering if anyone has had/seen this problem before.
Thanks for any help.
