Power Window Question

Also you can install the switch yourself. I changed one in my B2.

I was thinking about that. But with the way this whole episode's been going, I wouldn't mind a warrantee, if you know what I mean. Oh well. By the way, the Ford dealer got it so that all the windows are at least stuck in the "up" position, which is a very good improvement because rain can't come in any more :)

Alright, I've made some phone calls about this switch, and I've got the prices from 4 dealerships now. Tell me if this sounds more reasonable:

Peachtree Ford: Part: $48.33 Labor: $45.00 Total: $93.33
Perimeter Ford: Part: $50.00 Labor: $78.88 Total: $128.88
North Point Ford: Part: $60.59 Labor: $115.00 Total: $175.59
Billy Howell Ford: Part: $ 41.64 Labor: ~ $260.00 Total: $300.00

That's quite a spread?!! Go with Peachtree!, unless you know their service stinks!

That's what I'm thinking I'm going to do, is take it to Peachtree. They're a pretty good shop, they had my Explorer when the head unit blew up on Thanksgiving and they were really good about it (especially considering it was Thanksgiving), so that's probably where I'll be taking it
