I've checked what I think is everything. I've taken the door panels off and checked the wiring, fuse (sun roof works same fuse) wiggled the wires looking for a short (nothing), and taken the switch apart and everything looks good; any other ideas?

Thank
Terry

Try doing a search in the forums for this problem. I had my drivers side window stop working once, but it then started to work again. Try tapping your window motor with a rubber mallet. That sometimes solves the problem with these window motors.

two door? four door? all windows from all controls don't work? in the past, the master lockout switch (four door) gets "dirty" on some people. You need to get a meter and ensure that you have continuity thru it and also voltage when powered and operated. On 96 drawings (all I got), R/LB provides power for the stuff and travels thru the aforementioned switch.

I had the same prob a few years back. I just replaced the drivers side master control switch type box. And it fixed it. Hope this helps. Good luck.

Thanks, All window, all switches don't work on my 99. That was my next question what wire supplies the power. Is there a way to bypass the lockout switch for a test?

Actually according to my 96 drawings, the lockout switch isn't involved with the driver's side control (ie. they should work regardless of its position... I verified mine and that's how they work). I suspect 99's are the same.... so I think your problem is else where. Next look at your Acc. Delay Relay. Ensure that it is pulled up (ie. operated). It provides the path for your power to your windows / switches.

Dumb question; where is the Acc.delay relay located?

good question... my 96 reference ain't too clear but it says its behind the "I/P" ... instrument panel I assume... in the middle somewhere below the heater controls... the picture isn't very good.
