Power windows work intermittently.

Hi Everyone,
In the words of Joe Dirt, "I'm Neeewwwwww". Glad I found this site specifically for advise. I just purchased a 1994 Explorer XLT 4x4 4 door and have it almost like I want it. The thing left to do with it is figure out what is causing some power window problems. Sometimes they work sometimes they dont. From what I've read here ,on this awesome site, it seems it may be something to do with the motor connectors in the door housings. I currently have one window stuck in the down postion. Anyone have any advise. Thanks and looking forward to hearing from you. Michael

Welcome to this forum! I've renamed your thread, and moved it into the stock 91-94 section. Check the switches, socket connector, ground wiring, and the wiring between the door, and the body for cracks.

Sounds like the bushings. Mine had the same symptoms and once I replaced them, they were like new. Checkout the following threads.
