Is there some way to manually raise a power window. My front right is stuck down, I cannot find the problem yet, I have the door apart, and it is going to rain for the next 2-3 days

If you don't use 12V to turn the window motor you would have to disconnect the glass from the regulator. Either rivets or bolts. Then hold the window up with tape.

I had the same problem with my front passenger window getting stuck down. I just took off the door panel and located where the motor was, then i got a rubber hammer and gave the metal near the motor a few good hits and now my window works again. If this works for you, just don't put the window down all the way anymore. Leave a half inch or so. It hasn't failed me yet.

usually you can take the door panel off and manually raise the window. It should stay up, just don't accidently hit the down button again. Check for a bad ground while your in there too, that maybe your problem and its a simple fix.

well, I sure wish I'd seen the hammer suggestion before I got this far.

I have the motor out. Once it was disconnected from the window gear the motor turns just fine so............ can the motor be just too weak to start the window moving or do I need to look at the track probably?

This happened all the sudden. There was no sign of anything going wrong before it quite working.
