600 watt usx600f us acoustic amp
pioneer deh3500
will work on the highs/mids next right now im setting up the bass :smoke:

anyway im getting some 4 gauge power wire for my amp and was wanting to know if there is a easy way to run the power wire. I usualy run it through the drivers door lol but i want to semi stealth it this time. Im not taking the dash out etc. Any easy spots like a drain plug somewhere or something? thanks

There is a gromet behind the pedals that the ebrake cable runs thru. If you open that up a little bit, you can fit 4gauge wire thru there. Then snake it down the drivers side under the kick panels.

the cars in the shop right now but it comes back next week so i cant go look now but will i need to take the carpet out in that area. if so how big of a ordeal is that? thanks

All you need to do is pull the carpet back, nothing major. It's a nice 1-2" black grommet with a wire in the center going through it, either expand the hole or run it around the side and pop the rest of the grommet it and make sure you cover it real well (to keep noise out).

It's rather simple. My truck goes into the shop tomorrow, I can get you some pics or others can, but I know this has been discussed before, may want to use the Search feature. ;)

im sure i can find it. btw whats a nice ground spot? last time i had a amp in there i drilled a hole in the metal plate below the back seat on the passenger side. (its like under the flap where the jack handle tool is. My amp is pretty damn big for a 600watter so i had to put it under the passenger back seat. it still didnt fit all the way under the seat but good enough i guess. Last time i had this amp in the car i just ran it through the door and it looked like sh.it so i want to run it stealth this time

The ideal place is to ground it to a bare metal spot on the frame. That's what I did, but everyone isn't comfortable drilling a hole thru the floor. Try to fiind a nice spot on the body, and grind off all the paint so it's bare metal and ground to that spot.

if your amp is going under your rear seat then i would just use one of the seats mounting bolts as a ground. i have done this before with good luck.

Another entery way is on the passenger side.
That is where mine is.
There actually is more room to work there. I pulled off the right front wheel and pulled back the fender liner.
Also when you ground it to bare matal don't forget to put a little dialectric grease on there to help prevent corossion.
Also don't forget to prime and seal the hole you drill as well.
