i have a 1991 ford explorer and i have rust powersteering pump lines and my powersteering pump pressure house is leaking bad. so there any kind of way that i can fix this until i can get the money to get it fixed? would jb weld work or anything like that?

From what I have seen, JB weld or things similar to it don't work well holding in pressure unless the pressure is holding them into the material. (i.e. It can hold pressure if JB weld is on the inside of a tank, but not on the outside)..

You could "try" a field fix by putting JBWeld over it and then wrapping it with some kind of very strong material (10 or 20 mil black tape that is used on pipes mike work.). It won't stop the leak, but may slow it down.. (I put glue into a crack and wrapped a pressurized water pipe with 20 mil black tape and it really slowed the leak way down).

But, if you don't have that stuff lying around, it is problably more cost effective to put in a new hose (or at least a good yard hose).
