Powertrain fault question.

Hey y'all my 2006 Ford Explorer just went into limp mode. The wrench light came on on my dash. It's running really rough like a misfire but I just replaced the spark plugs 4 months ago. Any ideas on what the problem is, I haven't pulled the codes yet. Any help is appreciated
