Well, I am having to remove my engine to replace timing chains and I figured I could save a bit of trouble down the road and do some cheap maintenance to save on more difficult procedures later.
For example, my rear main seal isn't leaking at the moment, but I am going to ask the shop to replace it while the engine is out.
Also, spark plugs. The plugs next to the firewall can be difficult to change so why not do it while the engines out.
If I had a manual trans I wold be considering changing the clutch etc.
So what items would you guys recommend I look at changing?
