Regarding this one from summit racing:

Has anyone used this? Is it good?
Does it raise the entire ride height or just the back?

I'm looking to raise my 4x4 2 inches, does this seem like a good choice for what I want to do?

I have those exact ones. It will only raise the rear. I prolly got about a good 1 1/2" out of it at first and then it settled to about an inch. Not a lot of lift. It did however, stiffen the rear up and gave me less body roll in corners. There is a link on here for EATON about re-arched leafs. Better way to go and a lot safer then shackles. A LOT of guys on this site will steer you to shackles. But I have been told by several spring shops including Mike at Eaton, that, that is a dangerous way to go. Or you could go to a bone yard and get a set of leafs off of a donor Ex or some people are using F-150 leafs and adding those springs into the one on their Ex's. Depending on what you want, you can add one or two or three. Just depends. Do a search for them you will get a ton of info.

it will only lift the rear. there is nothing wrong with shackles

i currently have those same add a leafs on my ranger, they were on my explorer, then my toyota, now my ranger

Yeah, I figured it would only lift the rear, I was just confused because in the description it says it adds to overall ride height.

Adding leafs will only lift my ass end up, I want it all around.
I'll do some more research, I suppose.

Thanks for the info.
