Pro Comp MT's -vs- Kumho Venture MT's

Due to Pro Comp's buy 3 tires, get 1 free deal, the price of these tires is about the same.... which would be the better choice? I think i read that the Pro Comps have horrible highway noise... but which tire lasts longer and is better all around?

btw, I will be getting 31x10.5x15's.

i cant give you a completely correct answer. But from what i have read the pro-comp are buy 3 and get 1 free because they are not that good. The all terrain is o.k. and the M/T is just a extreme A/T. I cant acually say anything bad about them because i have never owned a set. maybe someone with them will chime in.

I have heard that the kuhmos do very well.

most all mts are jsut an aggressive at....

the procomps are decent as are the kumhos... they arent the best in the world, but arent the worst.... the only thing ever i would say bad about the procomp, is they are always too expensive and you can get otehr tires with the same performance for cheaper... but if they are the same price... sweet


it isnt until you start getting into the newfangles xtreme stuff where they are any different

Pro Comp MT's are an extremely quiet mud tire. I have about 20,000 miles on mine and am still surprised by how little highway noise they make. My old Dunlop Mud Rovers were the exact opposite and got worse the more worn down they became. I'm very please with my pro comps in both wear and offroad traction. They can be a bit slippery in the rain though.
