Hello, first time poster, glad to be here. I have a huge problem and I have no idea where to start. Any suggestions would be helpful. I just bought a 95 explorer from a friend and noticed that the dash lights were not working. I thought I might be able to fix it myself instead of just taking it in, but I have no idea where to look first or what to do. Im hoping its something simple, but with my luck....Either way Id love to know how to get them working again.
Thanks a lot your help is appreciated

Bump

Ok....No responses so far, but I think thats because I haven't explained everything carefully. So far Ive:
- Checked ALL fuses
- Removed Instrument Cluster panel checked for loose wires (Found the dimmer harness disconnected, tells me my "friend" took it apart)
- Reconnected everything.....
Still doesn't work. I have a Chilton, the owners manual and wire diagrams but I have NO IDEA where to start. If anyone could at least point me in the right direction it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

start by checking for voltage with a meter ( I assume that how you checked your fuses.... right). All the cluster lights are lit on R/BK (at least in 96 ... my drawings)... check for voltage there.
