PROBLEM: hesitate on quick acceleration

yeah I was planning to go with a bosch high flow pump but where I get all my engine parts recommended me this for my application...
As I built the engine above standards, I fitted a custom over sized piston .40thou and port polished heads and fitted just slightly bigger valves plus balanced crank shaft and stage3 tuned cams...

let u know and see if it made any difference lol...

With all that stuff it might come close to a standard Falcon 6 ;)

Pity the Territory didn't come with a propr 4wd drive system.

Ooo ooo! A diesel Territory with 4wd and a split transfer case!

I worked on FG XR6 Turbo and I fitted a Garrett GTX3582R and got a exhaust custom plus air induction plus upgrade intercooler...

yeah I wish I can fit a XR6 turbo engine in the explorer lol...

:( HELP..! still have the problem...

hesitate on quick acceleration if I depress the accelerator easy then its all good, Just remembered I think its worst when its on load..

The reason I say that, I remember going through flood water and it feels like the car is about to stall (lack of power) but soon I'm on the surface then it was all good.

The other time I was on the sand dune and going up hill and I all the sudden did the full throttle and It felt hesitation and loss power (no grunt)...

I am worried that when ever I quickly accelerate full throttle when its on load then the problem comes up...

After I replaced my Fuel Pump it felt the same then I found out my No.! leads is leaking then I replaced that and I thought the problem fixed but I guess not..

Question: what makes the car run rich..? I can smell the exhaust running rich and maybe that's the cause of it 'it floods on load"... :(

tune?

. . . As I built the engine above standards, I fitted a custom over sized piston .40thou and port polished heads and fitted just slightly bigger valves plus balanced crank shaft and stage3 tuned cams. . .

You have made modifications to increase air flow thru the engine. Did you modify your tune to match the changes?

What is the projected power band for your cams? In my opinion a high engine speed power band is not well suited for an off road vehicle with oversize tires. A cam for towing would be better suited for your driving.

thanks for your reply..

I have tried open up more air flow but still the same and yes the cams is suitable for Off Road...

its funny sometimes its okay but sometimes it does the hesitation / gagging on acceleration...
