Problem: No fire, no fuel.

Is not the:
Crank sensor
Computer
Fuel sensor
Fuel Pump
Ignition switch

I have replaced everything I know to replace.

Any suggestions?

by no fire do you mean there is no spark?
is there an intertia switch of that truck?
have you checked all your fuses?
checked for loose wires?

was the truck running fine then stopped running all at once or was it slowly getting worse and worse till it finally stopped running all together?

It was running fine and just shut off as if it ran out of gas (but it had fuel).
I have checked "all" of the items you mentioned.

I done replaced them both.

In fact, I have changed all the following and still cant figure it out....
module, fuel pump, fuel pump relay, crank sensor, computer, ecmu, theft system, ignition switch, ignition coils, plugs, wires, fuel filter, throtle position sensor, mass air flow sensor, timing belt,
I give up, and Need a genious!

You have replaced and checked alot of things. How about the main wire harness going into the fuse box under the hood and the harness that goes on and into the drivers side firewall and into the back of the fuse block that is under your dash.

I have checked every wire on that truck! I've been through wiring harnesses, and everything. I give up! Need help!

did you do a compression check?

Finally figured it out!!!

Great news, I finally figured out the problem. You can't use a "wal-mart" key and expect the vehicle to keep running!!!!!! You MUST use the key that came with the vehicle! Thanks for your help.

I did not know a 1992 ranger had the chip in the key. The key made at walmart would not have worked the first time you tried it if your system required the chip key.My 1995 explorer did not have the chip key, but special options were available for the model also.
I knew your vehicle had a dead power source somewhere,;) Glad to hear you got it going

Thank you....Your update saved me a ton of pain. I had a spare key I hadn't used forever (I thought I had lost it) was found yesterday.

Without thinking anything about it, I used it this morning. Truck wouldn't start. Without this thread, I never would have thought to try my other key.
