Ok so my bro. has a 96 chrysler sebring convertible and there is something wrong with it. When he accelerates normally the car is fine. however, when he floors it the car does not accelerate like it should; I dont really know whats wrong w/ it. any ideas?

BTW: we took it to the dealer and they said nothing is wrong with it but anyone who drives it can tell that something is wrong.

I guess the basics..
is it tuned up?
Getting enough air through air filter?
getting enough fuel through fuel filter?

It's hard to say without more specific info, but you might check for a clogged catalytic converter. If that's not it, take a look at the MAF sensor and the TPS. A lack of power in the higher rpm range, is sometimes caused by a faulty or dirty MAF......
