The daytime running lamps on my '02 XLT are "flickering" to the point that oncoming traffic is probably getting pretty annoyed.
I am assuming that the module is going bad, however is it possible to just disconnect or bypass it?
It also appears that the truck was originally from Canada.

Thanks,
Brent

im not sure of Fords, but on GM's, the DRL's are on a seperate fuse and if you pull it out, it just disables the DRLs

I had some time last night to look at it so I did what you suggested. The fuse location was not in the same place as what the manual stated though. It said it was in slot #14 but there was nothing there, so I just started looking for a 10 amp fuse and there was one in slot #28, I pulled it and no more DRL's :)

I didn't think it would have been that simple. I just assumed that since the DRL's are running the headlamps at 75% it would have been tied into the headlamps and I wouldn't have a choice but replace what was going bad.

Thanks, for the suggestion.

Brent
