My 4x4 did not work, so I changed the Control Module. When I plugged in the new module the radio came on as well as the 4 Wheel Low light. The keys were laying on the seat. Then, I could not go from Park to any gear. It was stuck in Park. I took the new module out and put the old one back in. The radio and 4 WD Low light went off, but it was still stuck in Park. I disconnected the battery, then reconnected it and nothing changed. Come to find out, I had to right module, according to my VIN, but it was not equal to the one installed originally from the factory. I have a new one that matched the one in there on the way. What would all this have to do with my shifter being stuck in Park?
