problem with new h.i.d.'s

i just installed the 9007 10,000k lights i got today.i ordered them on saturday night.2-07-09.i put the driver side in and it looked great.did the passenger side it looked good for about 10-15 seconds then i noticed the bulb turned all white.i thought it could be maybe my wires or something so i switched the bulbs and the passenger side looked perfect,but then the driver side looked all white.so im thinking either it could be a 6,000k-8,000k bulb or the bulb itself is bad.plus when i first turn on the headlights the bulb i think is bad takes twice as long to get bright.they take a few seconds to warm up.but the bulb thats good lights up a lot brighter and faster.so i e-mailed him and told him the deal.im hoping he will send me a new bulb.anyone got any ideas what it could be?

think you nailed it. btw, i quickly looked at your cardomain page, where did you get your fuel door from?

its actually just a cover.its made out of stainless but it just goes over the fuel door with 3m tape.i got it at murrays for $19.99.
