Ok, when I got the explorer the rear defroster didn't work. Mainly because the clips to the window itself were cut and the tabs were bent down. I grabbed a good harness from another explorer and put it all in place, used a screwdriver to stand the tabs back up and hooked it all up.
Ok, BEFORE i started this you could push the button up front and it would blip the orange inner light real quick. now...it does nothing. I dont have any clue if the switch is bad or if I blew a fuse. No clue which fuse it is.
cant see anywhere on the printed strip on the window where it could be broken either.
anyone got any ideas on where to start poking my voltmeter or know what usually goes bad on the rear defroster circuit so I can check it all?? I checked the harness I replaced and that is known good fyi
