Project "Good enough for who it's for"

Wow, great work. I do not know anything about body and paint repair. Where would be a good place to start learning about how to work with body fillers, repainting and waxing/polishing?

I would love to learn how to do my own paint work. Got an old green grand cherokee that could use it. The black paint on my explorer also looks a bit faded and shows every swirl mark when clean. I need to learn how to polish it.

YouTube has a lot of good videos posted. But, there is a lot of good info and knowledge here- Monmix helped me out quite a bit with some tips and such, but there is no substitute for trial and error- just getting in there and doing it. It's really not as hard as it seems, it just takes time. Patience is a virtue, and the amount of prep work, sanding, etc. you do is directly related to how well your job will turn out.

Go for it!

damn inpressive for rattel can job.

looks great. No one can ever tell that you were in that quarter or those doors. That is the intended result.

Thanx Monmix... I was waiting for your blessing- means a lot man... :)
