Project Turbocharger!

I have a 97 4.0 OHV. Does anybody know if the aluminum (I’m assuming it’s aluminum) intake manifold from the older 4.0 OHVs will fit on the newer (97) OHVs? I’m starting my turbocharger project on November 11 (the weekend after SEMA) and the general consensus is that the plastic intake manifold will not support more than 6 or 7 pounds of boost. Not that I will be pushing much more then that to start. If nobody knows, does anybody have an old intake manifold they would like to sell or know where I can get one? Of course the alternative is just try it and see if it blows. But that’ll suck.

It will work. When I swapped the 97 4.0 into my old 91 explorer I had to switch the intake cause the plastic one was cracked. I can't see why it would be any different for you.
