Hello all, I am new to the board. I have been browsing around for a week now, and finally registered. I just bought a 1997 Explorer AWD 5.0 for very cheap on ebaymotors. It has 153k miles but is in very good shape both mech and cosm.
Anyway, I am wanting to add forced induction to it in the near future. I was looking at the Powerdyne BD-11a super, which looks good for what I would want. I am looking for a little more power out of it, in the way of low and mid range torque. Low boost, nothing crazy.
I was also looking at this K27 Turbo. I would do a remote mount setup. It has a .63 Turbine, and .87 Comp I was wondering if anyone knows anything about these turbos. Also, given the specs, Is this a good low end/mid range turbo, and what RPM can I expect boost? Any help would be appreciated! Thank You
