Proposed Event Date Thread

Here I'm going to start a thread for proposed club events, not to be confused with outside events such as the DWE show and the 4-wheel jamboree. I do this in hopes that we can raise involvement and find out when people are free to do something. For instance, I just posted a thread suggesting doing something for the first weekend of July here . Long weekends are certainly welcome, but not at all required. If you folks want to try and plan something for Memorial Day weekend, that's cool, but so far I plan to be out of the area then.

Just an FYI: I'm sure that before I said that the 7-day permits at Race Point beach by Provincetown were $30 and they probably were when I said so, but I just noticed on their site that they're $40.

There should be a lot of places in Maine to go off-road (at least a lot more than in MA)...

There's some good trails I found out on the Cape right in Bourne over the bridge....nothing too crazy.

Just keep going straight through the rotary, half a mile on your left, hit the sand, and you can ride it some miles, it has some pretty good hills and rocks out there too. Just make sure you stay off the military base... they don't like intruders too much!
