Pump 92 A4LD !

when doing a rebuild since the front seal was blown is it a good idea to remove the pump as well since the springs in the O.D pack where ground up , i tryed to blow ( from my mouth uggh ) air into the output from the pump and feels like there was an obstruction the air didnt free flow through it . to reinstall if i was to mark where the pump was or make a jig to bolt to the bell housing before removing do i still need the alingment tool ?

I would only recommend the alignment tool. This is one thing you wouldn't want to mess up. It could ruin the pump, bell housing, and torque converter.
