Put a Torson 4.6L V8 2V on a Gen 4 Explorer

I run across this YouTube video where a guy swapped a 5.4L 3V with a 5.4L 2V. I don't know if this applicable to the 4.6L in the Explorers but he does say the stock computer can be used but it needs a custom tune. I think he kept the same transmission between the two engines. I am not even sure if the 3V bell housing can be used on a 2V block so it can mate to a 6R60/80 transmission.

All Ford 5.4/4.6 mod motors use same bolt pattern with the exception of the fwd continental. Only difference in engine wiring between 2v and 3v is the addition of a bank 1 cam sensor and some 3v models have IMRC butterflies in the intake to control. Besides that everything else is the same / same connectors
