putting electronic ride control on my 97 xlt

ok i have a 96 limited with ride control and the rear shocks needs replacing.
can i take the ride control off the limited and put it on my xlt?air pump and all.
I dont want to put the money into the limited as it is a crap truck but my xlt is in great shape.

Ah no, the wiring alone is a huge mess. I bought all of the harnesses from a 98 Limited and installed the ARC wiring into my 99 Limited. Either fix the 96 Limited that you have, or lose the feature. The Limiteds are wonderful, but they are high maintenance. Good luck,
