Thanks to all the great write ups here, I have now gotten the old front diff out.
I am running into a lot of trouble getting the new front diff in however and I need some input as quick as I can get it.
Basically..two things seem to be keeping me from getting the new front diff in..
I did not see in the write ups where people were jacking up and removing the drivers side cv axle.
Does this one need to come out also?
The reason that this is an issue is that the cv axle is not wanting to pop into the diff. This problem is compounded by the weight and the fact that I am under it trying to bench it into place as I am trying to get the drivers cv axle to pop in.
So here is what I need to find out...
What is the best way to get the CV axle to pop into the front diff?
Should I just take the drivers side CV axle out and then put in the front diff?
How do you get the CV axles to pop back into the front diff?
Thanks in advance for any help.
