I have a 1996 Limited and every so often the power door locks begin locking themselves continuously. They start doing this randomly without anything triggering them that I can tell. I brought it to the dealer and they thought it might be a bad relay, but it wasn't doing it at the time so they were'nt sure. If I hold down the door lock in the unlock position for a few seconds, sometimes it will turn off. Also it goes back to working fine for weeks.
I don't know where to start....any suggestions?:banghead:

My BII did the same thing to me once. In my case, water had gotten into the power lock wiring in front of the engine compartment. Once it dried out, it was fine. maybe you have water getting in there, or a wire that is shorting to ground. Either way, try doing a thorough inspection of the wiring for the power locks.

Mine just did that not long ago, kept locking and making the horn honk....I disabled the auto door lock feature....and it hasn't done it since.
