Question about 31" BFG's

I think i am going to buy the 31" BFG all terrains...but how beefy will they look on a stock height Explorer?...i've seen pics where they look awesome, and some where they dont look much different from stock size tires...let me know!

I have seen 31's on a newer Explorer, not real impressed, but I own a 93 and am very partial...sorry! i think it would look better with different rims w/ backspacing, the one I saw was a 99 with 31's on stock rims. I ran 31's BFG At, I had 79,000 on them when I finially bought new, They were down to threads and got a good laugh from the guy who mounted my new ProComps 33's for me

I have a 91 eddie and have 31 with no lift yet.... I have Kumho Venture MT 31x10.5 x 15 and I love them, they rub a little on the drivers side but if I move the plastic inner about a 1/4 they won't.

Great tire at a good price

I've got 31 10.5 BFG ATs on my 93 and I love them...Sand, snow, mud, road...great tire. Mine fit with no lift, a litlle rub when the truck is loaded and the wheel is locked, not enough to hurt anything though...

They do fill the wheel well but not enough to lessen the off road ability.

If you compare the 31 to the stock tire side by side there is a good size difference about 4 or 5 inches of rubber...
