I want to lift my '92 X, but I can only afford a 3" BL if I wanna be able to get tires too. So, my question is will 33x11.50 or 33.12.50's work with a 3" BL? The vehicle came with 31x10.50's stock.
im currently running 32x11.50" tires on 15x8 wheels with a 3" body lift
if you want to fit 33's you can also get some 2" lift springs from skyjacker front. and it comes with Add-a leafs for the rear. and some oversized Camber bushings (might get lucky and not even need them) so you can get it aligned.
so 5" of lift for like $300 bucks (3" body + 2" Suspention) and you will fit 33"s
2" suspention lift from skyjacker = $170
3" Performance accessories body lift = $100
2.5, 2.75 or 3.0 degree camber bushing = $40 from rockatuo i think
are you a manual?
Shifter Extention = $20 (i cant remember exactly)
But you do realize your going to need to re-gear right? Otherwise your gas milage, Engine power, and transmission are going to hate you. after running 32"s for about 4 months on a 160k mile tranny, it died
My 92 came with 3.27 gears!! thats high as any truck should ever have. You are going to need something lower. 4.10 is the least you want. im running 4.56 with my 32s" and will eventully got with 33"s. But i like the extra power and i dont drive faster then 65 very often.
Where can I get the suspension lift at? Looked on 4wheelerparts.com and truckperformance.com and couldn't find that lift. I may just save some money and just go with 32's...I dunno :-/
