For a while now, the front end of my Ex has been making this clicking noise when moving, like something that is rotating is only hitting something else every so often. The click rate increases with speed. The strange thing is that the noise does not start until after the first time I have applied the brakes, and it will also stop while the brakes are being applied, but comes back as soon as I take my foot off of the brake pedal.
I believe that the noise is coming from somewhere near the driver's side tire... I took the wheel off this morning and noticed that the brake pads are constantly in contact with the rotor. They shouldn't be like this, should they?
Anyone have any ideas on what this noise could be?
Edit: About 100 miles ago I had new tires mounted and balanced, and about 150 miles ago I had the driver's side wheel bearing replaced and rotor resurfaced... The clicking was happening even before I had that work done. I also have manual hubs, if that might cause anything.
