Thanks Richard, not sure that one will pass emissions, it says 80's - 90's mine's an 02, but I'll check that webpage I just want to make sure these are the ones I need, I was offered some other pipes to go instead of the cats, I don't want those

Any other opinions on what I should get? I need to pass emissions, I've been driving it with no sticker for 1 month now...

bump??

Might be warranty

Double check your warranty guide or contact a Ford dealer. Certain emissions parts are covered for longer than 3/36 factory warranty. You might be able to get it covered by Ford.

Even after 6 + years? I'll give it a try, I don't have a warranty guide I'm not the first owner and the previous one didn't include any paperwork other than the title

Jad, what's your location? With that we might be able to figure out a way to fix it and keep you within emissions.

I worked for a Ford dealership for 10 yrs in the past and if I can remember right some years had 8/80 emissions warrenty.

I'm in mexico, does that help you at all? we get a fine if we don't have the cats and of course you don't pass emissions, but I can go to a dealer in Texas or one in Mexico if that'd work, but the truck has 90+ k so I'm guessing it's 8/80 whichever comes first, right?

never go with a universal fit, they take longer to install and require extra pipe. I say just buy some direct fits. I know a few places that sell them for under 200

pipe will run me like 15dlls plus the 60 of the cats 75 vs 200.... what would be the advantage? I don't have a welder nor know how to weld so either way I'd have to pay a shop and this is the first time I buy cats, so I don't know much about them...
