question about my subs i think

ok so i have a 03x and i just got new subs for it a week ago after my other ones burnt out. So last night my alarm went off like 3 times i think this is being coused from my subs. i think it might be the power wire runing from the battery to the subs. Could this wire be bad and making my alarm go off by its self.

when you say you installed new subs, did you install a new amp too or just the actual subwoofers. if only the subs, then they shouldnt effect anything else.
if its a new amp, it sounds like it might not be wired correctly.

Factory alarm or aftermarket? If aftermarket when you disarm it the siren usually will chirp so many times and that tells you what sensor went off. if its the voltage sensor then it may be, but if you have had the equipment in before with the same alarm it may just be a fluke.

the only reason ur power wire would set off ur alarm is if it was grounding out, in which case u would know it cause u woulda blown the fuse
