2004 Ford Explorer ST Adr
Hello all, forgive me for being a total noob when it comes to my truck. I own a black 2004 ST 2wd Adrenaline. I need new tires and have been looking for a couple months. I found the tires I want and decided to get black wheels as well. Here is what I am looking at getting:

Rims: http://www.discounttiredirect.com/d...04&pc=46290&counter=1&wd=16&rw=8.5&vid=008682

Tires: http://www.discounttiredirect.com/d...me.do?tmn=Grabber+AT2+Studdable&typ=Truck/SUV

Both these tires and wheels are in my price range, but if there are any other suggestions I am willing to listen.

My questions is if these are both compatible (I told you I'm a noob) with my truck and if there's anything special I need to know before going to my local place and purchasing them. Thanks in advance!

What backspacing do those wheels have and what size tire do you want to run? The factory wheels are only 16x7" and the factory tire size is 255/70/16. Is your truck lifted or lowered at all? These all factor into how and if they'll fit.

01STRunner had those in a 17" wheel. Can't say for sure that the backspacing is correct though without knowing what it is.

Again, as Midnight said, without more information, we can't know for sure what size tires will fit. But, just guessing that you don't have any lift, you can fit 255/70R-16 or 265/70R-16.

I can't speak to the rims, but I have those tires in a 31/10.5/15 and like them. They're mostly quiet on the road and the few times I've gotten stuck off road have not been because of the tires. I got mine from Tirebuyer.com and they were about $25 cheaper than what Discount Tire sells them for.
