I am new to this site and i don't really have a computer that I can hook up to my Explorer but here is my problem. To get the truck started I have to give it gas after I turn the ignition. It just does not seen to turn over by itself..It does this about 80% of the time. After I get it started it tends to stall at red lights. I have to put it in park, turn the ignition, give it gas then put it in drive. Could this be some kind of fuel line problem? Spark Plugs? or do I just need a tune-up ? Its a 2000 Explorer with 69K Any help would be great! Thanks ! Ted

Ted, that's classic symptoms of a dirty/bad/sticking IAC valve. Many people try cleaning them before replacement, so do a search on here, and you'll find lots of info.

Here ya go:

Thanks!

Thanks so much for your help and the link...No telling how much the Ford dealership would have charged to fix that. I cleaned it all out, replaced it and the truck cranked up like a charm. I left the truck running for about 5 mins to adjust. Everything now seems fine.

Great. Glad it worked out.
