I seen alot of people posting that do a 2" torsion lift.. And says its a bumpy ride,

this is kinda of a question for people that already have done this, from stock to 2" torsion lift, is it that bumpy that its unbarable, or do you just need some good quality shocks in the front to even it out, or even with good shocks is it still bumbpy?

I got 33" 12.5 20's on my truck and the things really rub, i already cut off alot of plastic and since there the toyo ones the side wall has its little knobby design,, just wanna know if i should cut more plastics or do the torsion lift.. Little help please thanks guys

It's alittle stiff at first until the T-bars rebound alittle. I've had it done for a couple years now and have no complaints about the ride and I'm running 285/75/16's.

the only lift you have is the torsion bars?

I have a 1.75" TT, SL and 3" BL.

The ride afterwards is greatly exaggerated. It is stiffer but by no means unbearable, unless you are coming from a Cadillac or Lincoln Continental.

The big tires are going to hurt your ride quality more than the torsion twist. IMO.

I'm curious, how do bigger tires make the ride rougher? I know I have a rough ride in my trac, when driving on a road with little bumps I must look like a retard trying to smoke a cig. It really doesnt bother me though, the ride that is. I have a TT and 32's.

Un-sprung weight. Bigger tires are heavier/wider and much more susceptible to highway imperfections.

You really should kick that cig habit. I put the last one down six years ago next Saturday.

I thought it (my old '05) rode and handled better afterward. Not objectionable at all. And you should get new shocks anyway. The OE's are junk.

I do need to kick that habit, its going to happen soon.

I've noticed mine rides harder than stock height and tire size. I'm also running BFG T/A K/O's which have a really stiff sidewall, can't wait toreplace them with new tires. Looking at the General Grabber AT2's.

Check out the hankook dynapro ATM's...smoothest All terrain ive ever been on, and they have a mileage warranty :)
