Question - Do I need to attach wiring for a remote starter to both coil packs, or is one enough?

I bought a remote starter that has two start options -
Tach and Tachless.
I tried the Tachless (not hooking up the wire and letting the starter send a voltage signal to start the vehicle), but the car will not start. (It just cranks and cranks like the fuel is shut off.)
The tach option hooks a wire from the remote starter up to the negative wire off of the coil pack.
With the V-8 I have two coil packs w/ two harnesses. Does anyone know if I need to do this for both packs, or will one be sufficient?

Thanks for any help.
The starter is the Bulldog RS85i BTW.

Help:( :)

I've never done a remote start so think about that before you read this...

Each coil is independently grounded by the PCM. On a V8 you have four coils. So there is no "one" ground point to hook up to. I don't see how the "tach option" will work on your EX.

That's about all I think I know.

Yea, thats what I am wondering about. The V8 has 2 negative wires coming off of each coil pack.

I'm stumped.:frustrate
