2002 Ford Explorer XLT
Hello my name is Travis and I have a 2002 ford explorer XLT. I have been trying to remove the front hub assembly and was wondering if anyone could tell me the size of the bolt that holds the hub on. I was reading other posts and people say it is 32mm but I can tell you that it was way to big when I tried it. I also was told it was 28mm but I can not find a deep socket for it in that size to fit the nut. Can someone please help me out. I don't think it is metric to be honest.

Welcome to the site. Here's a video we did showing what's involved with the install. It should help you a great deal.

We carry a ton of auto repair parts for the Explorer.
