My '14 had great heating/Ac but the 2021 is a bit different. I can use the controls on the dash, boost the temp up high, and boost the fan speed. It warms up but I feel drafts, especially around the console. If I open the menu and go to controls, I can select "lower" aka heat the feet, boost the fan, and it eventually warms up. So my question is, where does the heated air come from on the regular dash setting? I can't feel it unless I go and select "lower" and then I can feel it. Strange.

I've been wondering the same thing. Heat doesn't work well in the "Auto" position no matter where the temp is set. I have been adjusting the fan on our 2020 ST to blow to my feet as well.

In case you didn't already know, the Auto button has 3 fan settings that show up as amber LEDs --- Low, medium & high. I keep it on 3 ticks in the summer because I want to feel the AC blowing but keep it on the lowest one tick setting for winter heat.

I see the 3 settings on "Auto" but I don't feel the air pushing at the feet unless I switch to the controls on the display and specifically push the "lower" or "feet" setting. My question was, even though it eventually heats up well, why can''t I feel it directly at the feet unless going into the controls and punching the "lower" or "feet" button? Where does the heated air come from prior to hitting the "feet" button? I ran my hand all around down under the dash and for some reason can't find where the hot air comes from.
