hey everyone, i am wondering if anyone has ever done the short add a leaf AND warrior shackle? would that set up work? is it even possible? thank you for all of the help.

An Add a leaf and warrior shackle can be installed together. The AAL will make the spring pack stiffer and the War-153 shackles will lift the rear end of the vehicle 1.25"-ish by pushing the rear pivot point of the spring down (it makes the spring seem flatter, but you are getting lift).

I don't remember if I've done it with a short AAL but I've done the f-150 spring mod and made franken packs (combining different springs from different vehicles)... It really doesn't matter if the AAL is short or not but Short AAL don't seem to give you a nicer spring rate like the full length AAL.

thank you for the response, i was asking because i already ordered my shackles which are coming this week,but have been
reading on the aal. im pretty sure that i can get shackles on pretty easy but am not too sure if im ready to tackle doing an aal on my own. in hindsight i would have just got the aal instead. the stock shackles look horrible and i probably wouldnt be able to salvage them after they come off which would mean if i went with the aal in the future i may have to keep the warrior shackles on.
