I just got my sport trac less than a week ago, and already have big plans for it. One of my ideas is to find some front seats and console to put in the back seat. normally not a huge undertaking, but i want to put a stock center console between the buckets and mold it into the back of the console for the front seats. I'm really bad at explaining things so ask if you dont understand what i'm talking about. Anyways, my question is, has anyone else done this? Also, i have never worked with molding plastic together before. So,basically, how do you do it?

Thanks for all ya'lls help so far. I'm really happy to be a new memeber to these boards.

I have seen someone put buckets in the rear and make a custom center counsel for it, but not a stock one. Sounds like a good idea, and here's how I would do it. First, connect the two center counsels with wood or something structural. After you do that, I would fiberglass over the whole piece. Granted, it would be a lot of work, but this would be your best bet.

i've done this, but i used the stock console. just had to make a bracket to hold up the front of the console. mine isn't molded. if you go to my cardomain site you can see a couple pics. I did this in my 91
