Hey guys,

I am installing in my 95 explorer:

2 sony 10's powered by a sony 250 rms mono amp
a new sony deck
and 2 sony 5x7's in the front doors

now what I need to know is, will this over load my alternator? Will it pull too much power and my alternator won't be able to keep up?

thanks

Your altenator will be fine. Just have good battery.

Your Explorer is a 95 is it the orignal battery? If so I suggest buying a new one that is about 800-850 cca.

ur alt and batt will be fine..trust me im running like 1kwatt rms off a 35 amp alt...still turckin to..and itl last another 2 months for the new alt =)

That's not a huge system, so the stock system will be fine.

Awesome, thanks

Other question: should I have any trouble taking the trim off to add new door speakers? I don't think this is too complicated of a task, but I am just wondering.

And also, will I have to replace the wires, or just unscrew one speaker and stick another in its spot sort of install?

Use the existing, they'll be fine. You can either do a "clean" install and find connectors, or just chop it up and connect it to the new speaker, your call.
