Questions I dont know whats wrong with my xploder

So i got a 95 xlt 4.0 with 246k. The truck runs weird cause when your driving there is a real bad vibration mostly when your on the gas. I wanna say its from the rear but i dont know cause it vibrates everything even my change in my cup holder. The motor just about everytimg starts up and idles fine. I think it idles a little low like around 750. Reciently i realized that I think my rear main seal needs to be replaced cause there is a crap ton of oil on the bottom of my oil pan and begining of the trans and i keep loosing oil somewhere but it never dripps on the ground. And so where im loosing coolant cause my refill tank keeps getting low but again it doesnt leak on the ground im maybe thinking head gasket but the oil isnt milky that i can see. Another thing that happened reciently is i started my car up and a couple of minutes later it shut off. when i tried to re start it it only cranked and i had to give it gas to get it to fire up and keep giving it gas to keep it running then it stayed running for a min and the idle dropped down to 250 but it only happened once. No check engine lights came on for anything. Can anyone tell me what i need to replace on my motor to get this thing running smooth again i love this truck. I have already replaced the fuel pump and fuel filter reciently.

The vibrating sounds like it's U-joints in the drive line.
Check for a weeping water pump or coolant under the intake manifold. I doubt your head gaskets are leaking. The starting issue might be the IACV, try cleaning it as well as the throttle body. You might also check the ECT sensor, make sure it's within spec cold and hot.
 






i tried checking the u joints if i did it correctly. I got under the truck and trued rotating the drive shaft and it didnt move. do i have to take the intake manifold off to check for the weeping water pump? and where is the IACV located on the intake? and where is the ECT sensor and how do i check that.

You will not be able to feel a bad u-joint by moving the driveshaft unless the u-joint is really junk.
 












so how can i check to see if my u joints are bad
Most foolproof way is to disconnect the drive shaft, both ends, and move the u-joints by hand. If therd is ANY roughness, the joint is bad, or going bad. Got much driving experience? If so, there is another way. Going down a slight grade at 45-55 MPH, ease off the throttle so the engine is neither pulling nor decellerating, if you feel a vibration, there is a bad u-joint. If no vibration, you can pretty much eliminate a u-joint problem.

THIS! Thank you so much, time to do some U joints on my EX. it was a crazy shake to. while I'm there getting a new drive line shock, and rear shocks too.
