I am installing quick lifts right now and i ordered the part numbers Rancho said. The fronts are the same part numbers, but the rears are different part numbers. The left rear went in fine, but the rear right is too narrow to sit in the seat in the lower control arm. Any suggestions or help? I ordered the rear struts from Amazon.

To clarify, I ordered the pre-loaded struts so I didn't have to reuse my old springs. Rancho's website says that the pre-loaded strut part number is RS 999904 for the front, RS 999934 for the left rear, and RS 999905 for the right rear. I ordered the front two from Rock auto, and the rear's from Amazon. The rear left went in perfectly, but the rear right is about 1/8" too narrow on each side where it bolts into the lower control arm. With the adjuster knob sitting in the right position, the three bolts at the top aren't in the right position to go in the strut mount. It would not fit in the left side, and the left one did not fit in the right side. I am just curious if somehow Rancho put the wrong strut in the box before Amazon go a hold of it, or is there something I'm not doing right? I don't want to trust it, but would it work if I put a couple washers in between the bottom strut mount to take up the free space? I don't have much time this week to work on it, and I have to get it all back together before Saturday so I can get it re-inspected without having to pay another inspection fee.

Update...
I called Rancho the next morning and told them about the situation. They asked for measurements and the strut I had was 2 3/8" wide at the bottom and the rep on the phone said it should be 2 3/4". He contacted the warranty dept and they are going to warranty it and send me a new strut along with a return shipping label to send the other one back.

Glad they are standing behind the product. I was going to reply that I would presume that the strut was incorrect. Mine bolted in without any issues. I would also contact amazon/the vendor on amazon to see what they can do to compensate you for your inconvenience if they sold you an incorrect part.

It wasn't amazon's fault, it was assembled wrong at the factory. It had the wrong sleeve in the bottom. Rancho overnighted me a replacement and the top was on wrong, but I just flipped it around so the knob is towards the inside. It will be a bugger to adjust it, but on the highest setting the ride isn't too bad so I may just leave it. Here is the final result.

I dropped it off and got an alignment done last night, and then today I was driving on the highway and noticed a slight grinding sound I believe is coming from the front. Could I have over extended the axle, or would it be something else. Everything I unbolted, I bolted back up, and it drives straight. It isn't a big sound, but I can feel it in the peddle when the engine is under load, and when I would move the steering wheel to change lanes
