( coil spacers )? i got the rear , add-a-leaf or shackle id rather add-a-leaf, its better i think. anyways im mainly wondering about the fron would i just have to buy new taller springs? then would i need new shocks? is there a cheap lift maybe some one wants to get out of the garrage that is collecting dust? money is no probably as long as you want a check! Dead Link Removed just kidding but whats the best deal id like about 2-3"s anyone have something or tips? thanks again!!! Dead Link Removed

Hey I have a 91 2wd and was thinking of doing something to mine. I found that Skyjacker makes a 2" lift($149 @ www.natltire.com and then you could get a 2 or 3" body lift for a total of 4-5" of lift. The Skyjacker kit just has an add-a-leaf and new front coil springs. A guy also told me that I would have to get some caster/camber shims, but I have no clue what those are and where I could get those?? Anyone know where I can get them and how much they are?? Well, I hope that helped you.

rock833,
You are correct about the shims for the skyjacker lift. As a matter of fact, I had a very long discussion with Rocky Mountain Suspension about this lift. Although, they carry the lift, they will not sell it. They say that this lift increases the alignment angles so much that the vehicle becomes unalignable. Although this makes sense, I have come to find out that this is not necessarily true. On another note, I had some very other poor service from them and will never purchase from them again. Back on track, the new eccentric bushings(as they are called) are available at any alignment shop. They will have an assortment of them when you get your alignment done. Basically, they have an offset hole in a conical shaped bushing, that when they are turned, will adjust your camber and caster angle.
As for a cheap lift, this is probably one of the better ways to go. However, once you get one lift, you won't stop. Take it from me Dead Link Removed
Hope this helps, take care and happy exploring!
